The health benefits that come with being a division I student athlete will benefit you long after your collegiate career.

that are not available to other students.Their workout schedules require them to follow a certain diet plan to have the energy to compete at the highest level.

Lifting, conditioning, practicing, and playing in games keep the athletes in top performance shape.  Strength coaches help them train specifically to benefit them in their sport.  Mandatory workout sessions created a healthy lifestyle that will create a motivated mindset when it comes to working out.

Student athletes have to adapt proper sleeping habits in order to have enough energy for their busy day. Sleeping patterns change throughout season due to traveling and classes. Athletes will have to plan out when they will go to sleep to make sure they are not tired.
