Student athletes are provided with academic help while competing so that they don’t fall behind. Orientation provides them with knowledge on the university and once they are enrolled in classes they are provided with several resources.

Tutoring is available to all student athletes and helps the students understand course material.  This includes the material that they missed due to competition.  When an athlete has a test when they are traveling, the school provides someone to proctor the test on the road.

Academic advisors help their athletes stay on track to graduate and to stay eligible to compete. Coaches also get involved in keeping track of grades and classes to keep their athletes academically responsible. All of this academic help is something that other students do not have easy access to.
